The Balder's Death SOMEBODY:   Loki and Balder WANTED: Loki wanted to kill Balder BUT:  Balder's mother made him inmune to any weapon in the world SO: He found a plant that could harm Balder THEN: Loki killed balder and was chained to rocks in a deep cave T his story talks about Balder, the god of light, and Loki the wicked that was always jealous of Balder's popularity desiring his dead.  But, Balder was inmune to any weapon because a pact that his mother made to all living and not living thing asking them not to harm his son, but there was one plant, the mistletoe, that could harm Balder and that Loki would use to kill him.  So, Loki took a sharp branch from the mistletoe's tree and went to the hall were all the gods were eating and throwing weapons to Balder for entertainment.  Then, Loki gave the sharpened branch to a strong and blind god, and the god threw the branch killing Balder and making Loki the guilty one that had to be chained to a rock

How Koreans Get Married T he text "How Do Koreans Celebrate Wedding?" refers to how koreans used to get married and how they do it now. Starting from the past, Korean families used to arrange marriages for their children using a matchmaker to find them a good match.  Continuing with the present, there are two ways to get married in Korea, by love match (two people fall in love), or by a arranged marriage. Koreans believe in "the four pillars" that are used by a fortune-teller to predict the person's destiny.  The fortune-teller looks at the four pillars of the couple's four pillar to see if they can be happy and get engaged or if they need to be rematched.  Then, the families get together anywhere but the groom's house for the engagement ceremony to set a date for the wedding.
